DATES FOR YOUR CALENDARS.....WE NEED YOUR HELP.

     Sunday, August 24th 2:00 p.m. Local group meets with MERFI ..

         The Mansfield group and the local group to "finalize" plans.  Meeting

          will be in the Airport Cafe or the Pilots Lounge.

     Wednesday, August 27th   7:30 a.m. breakfast, 8:00 a.m. meeting

         The local group will go over ALL the assignments and details.  if

          you are heading up a "function" for this event, bring your volunteer list,

          names and work schedule.  If you need help with names of volunteers,

          see Melanie on Sunday, the 24th.

      September 2 (Tues.) and September 3 (Wednesday) 5:30 p.m.

         Grimes Field....one hour class for ANYONE directing airplanes

          for the event.  Rick R. and Dave S. will lead this.  We need

          at least 20 volunteers.  Call Rick at 800-762-9810 with NAMES,

          and when they can work.  VERY IMPORTANT.......  Also, this group

          will need access to 5 "dedicated" golf carts (Brett G.).

     September 4th...Thursday....COME ONE AND ALL....we will be settng

          up ALL areas of the event.  Gators and vehicles to HAUL will be needed

          that evening.  Plane parking and camper parking will be marked that

          evening.  Bring a flashlight...we will be working LATE.

      September 5th...Friday...noon....final setup and any "unknowns."

      September 6 - 7...THE EVENT...9-5...pray for good weather.

   Misc.

              * Bill Edwards and volunteer will work the camping area/setup/

               parking etc.

              * Brett Gilbert will arrange pilot golf carts and "moving" people

               here and there.

               *We will have teeshirts and patches available to sell....in the

                  Grimes Lab Museum...where the pilots register.

               *We have a "donated" trophy for the Peoples Choice Award.

               *Volunteers (we are estimating about 100) will get a ticket for a

                free dinner...pickup from 4-6 p.m. at North Hanger.  We are

                funding it this year...think of sponsors for next year.  All

                volunteers will get a tee shirt...."bright green".

              *wristbands will be used to show paid admission.  One and two

                day bands will be available.

              *Nino has finalized placements for trash/RR/shower, etc.

              *Internet access:  $4.95 for 24 hours, CT completed this
